This paper analyzes the thought in the Poem "Nostalgia in Mianchi" by Su Shi from the time environment,his education and his thought when he went to Bianjing(the capital in Song Dynasty),discusses the application of the image "Che-hung" in literary works and the ontology of "Snow mud Che-hung claws",and concludes that the metaphor "Snow mud Che-hung claws" is Su Shi s pursuit of ideal.
