Objective The aim of the study is to determine serum contents of maternal serum markers including alpha fetoprotein(AFP)and free beta-human chorionic gonadotrophin(free beta-hCG)in mid-pregnancy,and explore its clinical value of screening for Down s syndrome(DS).

Objective To investigate the effect of screening for Down syndrome(DS)by detecting serum AFP and F-β hCG in pregnant women(14 to 20 weeks).
