This paper, by applying the theory of longitudinal train dynamics, presents an analysis of the impact rules of empty oil tank car marshalled at the end of goods train in lowspeed emergency braking, and discusses the effects of impact speed,characteristic of buffer and height of gravity center of car body upon the vehicle'S pitching angular vibration.
